In diesem Zusammenhang ist das Ziel der vorliegenden Arbeit, die Grundsätze der Theorie der Governanceethik anhand der Forschung von Josef Wieland darzustellen sowie ihre praktische Anwendung am Beispiel des Wertemanagements der BASF-Gruppe zu bewerten und die Problemfelder aufzuzeigen.
Die vorliegende Arbeit ist in fünf Kapiteln gegliedert. Nachdem im zweiten Kapitel die Grundlagen der Governanceethik aus wissenschaftlicher, philosophischer und ökonomischer Perspektive dargestellt werden, wird im dritten Kapitel ein zusammengefasster Überblick über die Definition und den Gegenstandbereich der Governanceethik gegeben. Daran schließen sich die weiteren Untersuchungen der Fragen des analytischen, methodischen und normativen Bereichs der Governanceethik in Kapitel three an. Auf dieser foundation wird in Kapitel four die praktische Umsetzung der Grundsätze der Governanceethik am Beispiel des Wertemanagements der BASF-Gruppe präsentiert und kritisch bewertet.
